The Churchill Group is building 38 town homes and 13 single-family homes at the Vistas in Gaithersburg, a community with a swimming pool, tennis courts, a clubhouse, playgrounds, walking paths, a horseshoe pit and a volleyball court.

Shops and restaurants are nearby at Kentlands.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will include a brick or stone front, beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage. The single-family homes are built on lots of 3,500 square feet.

Inside, the single-family-home model features four bedrooms; 3 1/2 baths; 9-foot ceilings on all three levels; crown moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch oak cabinets, a pantry, granite counters and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; ceramic tile flooring in the baths; a luxury master bath with a glass-enclosed walk-in shower with a seat; a high-tech wiring system; dual-zone heating and air conditioning; and a gas water heater.

The Katlyn model has approximately 2,570 finished square feet, with base prices from $684,990. Homeowner association fees have yet to be determined.

This home features a foyer entrance flanked by the formal living and dining rooms. The living room has columns and an adjacent powder room and closet. A library is nearby.

The back of the home features an open floor plan with a family room with a corner fireplace, a breakfast room with windows on two sides, a center-island kitchen and two pantries. A deck is located off the breakfast room near a mudroom.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room, two walk-in closets and a luxury bath. The second and third bedrooms share a hall bath, while the fourth bedroom has a walk-in closet and a private bath. A laundry room completes this level.

Options include finished lower levels, an upper-level deck, a computer loft, a gourmet kitchen and tray ceilings.
