ANALYSIS/OPINION:

On one of his recent shows, MSNBC host Keith Olbermann wondered aloud whether the United States could recover economically from a disaster like the Haiti earthquake, given its current health care system. Talk about a stretch to try to help the left wing push health care reform.

First, look at New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. They suffered a disaster and seem to be recovering nicely. Second, much of the health care assistance in or en route to Haiti is provided by health care professionals from the United States.

Doesn’t Mr. Olbermann understand that, despite his liberal Democrat posturing to the contrary, we have the best health care system in the world? And he probably wonders why MSNBC trails Fox News by several miles in viewership.
