BALTIMORE — Baltimore police said detectives have arrested three men accused in the stabbing death of a 20-year-old Marine.

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the men arrested Sunday morning were 26-year-old Michael Wiggins; 22-year-old Vernon Hadley; and 27-year-old Nicky Woodward. Mr. Guglielmi said all three will be charged with first-degree murder.

Mr. Guglielmi praised investigators for working throughout the night to make arrests quickly in the serviceman’s slaying.

The men did not yet have attorneys early Sunday morning.

Police said Pfc. Darius Ray was stabbed Saturday morning during a fight at a house party in northeast Baltimore. He was stationed in Washington.
