DURBAN, SOUTH AFRICA (AP) - Spain and Germany were 0-0 after 15 minutes of their World Cup semifinal on Wednesday, with Spain trying to create pressure.

David Villa’s shot from up close was blocked by Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer in the sixth minute. Villa received a pass from Pedro and tried to squeeze a shot between Neuer’s legs.

Carles Puyol headed over the bar on Andres Iniesta’s cross from the right in the 13th.

The match was briefly interrupted when a spectator carrying a vuvuzela ran onto the pitch and was briskly escorted out of the stadium by security guards.

The winner will play the Netherlands in Sunday’s World Cup final and the loser will face Uruguay for third place.
