ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Why are President Obama and the Democrat-controlled Congress obsessed with passing a costly health care bill and pushing for costly green-energy and carbon regulations based upon phony global-warming speculation? All of these will only exacerbate the real crises affecting beleaguered Americans, which are the economy, housing and job losses - caused primarily by overreaching government.

Why do our elected representatives also continue to bury us with insurmountable debt? Well, that one I can answer: It’s because they can. It isn’t reckless; it’s intentional. And that’s where the real change must be made. In the November 2010 elections and in the 2012 presidential election, we have to tell them that’s not the philosophy of the American people - and show them the door.
