DOVER, Del. — The Delaware pediatrician accused of molesting more than 100 of his patients will appear before a judge this week.

Dr. Earl Bradley is to be arraigned Wednesday in Sussex County Superior Court. It is unclear whether he will formally enter a plea in person or by video from prison, where he is being held under $2.9 million bail.

Public defenders Dean Johnson and Stephanie Tsantes will be representing Dr. Bradley. His two private lawyers left the case after the attorney general’s office moved to freeze Dr. Bradley’s assets, making it difficult for them to hire experts and mount a defense.

The charges against Dr. Bradley include rape, sexual exploitation of a child, unlawful sexual contact, continuous sexual abuse of a child, assault, and reckless endangering.
