ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Several articles, especially the editorial “Bart Stupak, coward” (Comment & Analysis, Tuesday) demonstrate the tragic results of those gullible pro-life voters who adhere to “vote the person, not the party” philosophy. Electing pro-life Democrats only served to give that party the majority in Congress so they could pass the health care reform bill. Sending a pro-life Democrat to a Democrat-controlled Congress is like sending sheep to convince hungry wolves they should become vegetarians.

If you are a pro-lifer who voted for a Democrat, including those who claimed to be pro-life, you are partly responsible for the recently passed bill. Try to have more common sense in future elections.
