YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) — Yellowstone National Park will offer free admission to the public on Veteran’s Day to honor all past and current members of the U.S. armed forces.

The north and northeast entrances to Yellowstone will be open on Thursday, Nov. 11 to honor veterans. All other park entrances and interior roads will close at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8.

All entrance fees will be waived at all National Park Service sites on Veteran’s Day for all visitors, not only for veterans and military personnel. The free admission day to honor veterans was established in 2006.
