CHICAGO (AP) - Derrick Rose and the rest of the Chicago Bulls are breathing a little easier after clearing one hurdle. Now they’re staring at another big obstacle.

That would be Atlanta or Orlando in the Eastern Conference semifinals that will get under way in earnest next week.

The Bulls disposed of Indiana in a tough first-round series Tuesday night.

The Pacers hung in until about midway through the third quarter, when the Bulls broke open a tight game and rolled to a 116-89 win in what turned into the first blowout of the series.
