FRANKFURT, GERMANY (AP) - FIFA says Colombia goalkeeper Yineth Varon has failed a drug test at the Women’s World Cup and has been provisionally suspended.

FIFA says Varon failed an out-of-competition doping control in Leverkusen on Saturday.

Colombia played Sweden in its opener on Tuesday in Leverkusen with Sandra Sepulveda in goal.

Varon is one of the backup goalkeepers for Colombia.
