Prince George’s County police have arrested two men in connection with a double shooting in Capitol Heights on Memorial Day that killed two cousins.

Kenan Arnon Seif Myers, 24, and Brian Cuffie Mayhew, 19, have each been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Anthony Stevens McKelvin, 28 and Sean O’Neil Ellis, 24.

Police were called to the 1300 block of Rollins Avenue around 11:30 p.m. on May 30 and found both McKelvin, of Suitland, and Ellis, of District Heights, dead inside a parked Lexus that belonged to Ellis’ mother.

Mr. Meyers, of the 5400 block of Addison Road in Fairmont Heights, and Mr. Mayhew, of the 2400 block of Corning Avenue in Fort Washington, are both being held without bond, police said.

A police spokesman had no details about the motive in the fatal shooting.
