LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in Lake Havasu City say they’re trying to identify a body found in the desert near the Arizona-California border.

Lake Havasu City police say the body was discovered Sunday afternoon by someone off-roading in the desert area.

Police say the body appears to be an adult male and had been exposed to the elements for a few days.

They say the body has been taken to the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office and an autopsy is scheduled sometime this week.
