ST. LOUIS (AP) - Missouri’s first set of sextuplets are now 10 years old.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports (https://bit.ly/1iJ3DSv ) the Otten sextuplets - Jacob, Isabella, Madison, Joshua, Rileigh and Tyler - were invited back to Mercy Hospital St. Louis on Saturday to celebrate their 10th birthday.

The sextuplets were born 10 weeks early to Ron and Tina Otten on April 9, 2004. That was after Tina Otten spent two months on bed rest at the hospital. The babies’ weights ranged from 1 pound, 13 ounces to 2 pounds, 15 ounces. The Ottens, who live in Maryville, also have two older daughters, ages 13 and 15.

Tina Otten says these days instead of stocking up on diapers and baby formula, the family now shops for loads of toilet paper “and a whole grocery store.”
