An Arkansas gynecologist has been charged with using his cell phone to take nude photos of patients during medical exams.

State police have charged Paul Becton Jr., 68, with five felony voyeurism counts after a patient reported the doctor earlier this month, The Smoking Gun reported.

The patient said Dr. Becton “produced his cellular telephone and took photographs of her pubic region and buttocks” during an office visit, according to an arrest affidavit.

An investigation found that deleted images within the hard drive of Mr. Becton’s cell phone showed “nude females that appear to have been taken in a medical office during medical examinations.”

“Also recovered during the examination were what appear to be photographs of the victim who reported this incident,” the affidavit said. “The victim identified five nude photographs that were taken without her knowledge or consent.”

A bench warrant has been issued for the doctor, who remains at large, The Smoking Gun reported.

Dr. Becton maintains a private practice at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. He has practiced for more than 30 years, according to his website.
