BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - New financial disclosure rules may be on the way for the Boulder City Council.

The new rules were adopted unanimously on first reading Tuesday, but Mayor Matt Appelbaum says that doesn’t mean council members support all the provisions.

The Boulder Daily Camera reports (https://tinyurl.com/onjjw9u ) the new rules would require sources of income be reported for the previous calendar year, while all other disclosures would be disclosed at the time of filing.

In 2012, some council members came under criticism for not disclosing all their investments.
