MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - Mason City’s downtown sculptures are soon to be moved to usher in new art.

The Mason City Globe Gazette says (https://bit.ly/1s84p1Z ) sculptures that have not been bought or leased will be moved April 9.

Mason City Chamber of Commerce President Robin Anderson says a new exhibit will be installed May 6. So far, eight of the 25 existing sculptures have been bought or leased and will remain downtown.

The River City Sculptures on Parade is a self-guided tour of outdoor sculptures displayed year-round.
