LOS ANGELES (AP) - Police are searching for suspects after two men were stabbed on the oceanfront walk at Venice Beach.

City News Service reports that the men were stabbed at about 9:40 p.m. Saturday and transported to the hospital with wounds that were not life threatening.

Los Angeles police Sgt. John Marquez says investigators are searching for at least two suspects and believe that the violence may have been gang related.

He says both victims, who are in their 20s, are very reluctant to talk to detectives.

Officers are looking for witnesses and surveillance video of the attack.
