WALTHOURVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say a 30-year-old Hinesville man died in an all-terrain-vehicle wreck.

Police say Dwayne Cornell Chapman was riding an ATV in Walthourville just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday when he lost control and struck a tree. Police say Chapman wasn’t wearing a helmet and suffered a head injury when he was thrown from the ATV.

Chapman was pronounced dead at the scene.
