LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles police have arrested a 60-year-old man wanted for beating and stabbing his wife in San Bernardino.

The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin reports (https://bit.ly/REXMXh) Ik Hwan Yeo was taken into custody late Saturday in the West Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley.

San Bernardino police had notified other law enforcement agencies that they were searching for Yeo.

Authorities say earlier Saturday he allegedly bound his wife’s hands in duct tape, punched her multiple times with a closed fist and stabbed her with a knife.

The woman sustained non-life threatening wounds and is being treated at a hospital.

Yeo was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is being held on $1 million bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
