WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - The Delaware State Police says one person has died and a second person has been injured in a single-vehicle crash in Glasgow.

Delaware State Police say it happened around 7 a.m. Sunday on South College Avenue and Glasgow Avenue. Delaware State Police say the driver of a Chevrolet Impala traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 20-year-old Phillip Willie Joe Hackett of Newark, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 21-year-old Anthony A. Ennis-Fields of Newark, was flown to a hospital by helicopter.

Delaware State Police say alcohol is being considered as a factor in the crash.
