LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) - Two professional bullfighters were injured by bulls during a show at the Boulder County Fair.

The Longmont Times-Call reports (https://goo.gl/VhUjpg ) that one of the bullfighters, John Jesse, had a broken arm after being run over by a bull. He has been released from the hospital. The other bullfighter, Vinnie Garcia, may have suffered abdominal injuries and a bruised kidney. Kevin Rich, the show’s promoter, says Garcia wasn’t expected to be in the hospital for long.

Both men were taken by ambulance to Longmont United Hospital Friday night. The event was a freestyle bullfighting competition.

Rich says the bullfighters are from Colorado.
