DETROIT (AP) - Comerica Bank is hosting a singing contest for southeastern Michigan police, firefighters and military members.

The Home of the Brave National Anthem contest is accepting entries through Aug. 24 on the Comerica Cares Facebook page. It offers a chance to win a $10,000 grant and the opportunity to sing the anthem Sept. 27 at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers.

The grant will support the winner’s police or fire station, their military unit, the Wounded Warriors organization or the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit.

Police officers and firefighters must serve in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Livingston counties. Active members of the military and veterans must serve in, live in or be a native of the same counties. Entry details are posted online.
