GREENVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Butler County sheriff’s officials say they’re investigating a report of a fire truck being stolen from a volunteer department in south Alabama.

Sheriff Kenny Harden tells WSFA-TV (https://bit.ly/1uDgzzQ ) the truck was stolen from the Central Volunteer Fire Station between Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning.

Harden says the truck has a 300 gallon tank on it used to battle brush fires. Tipsters are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 334-382-6521.
