HONOLULU (AP) - Two people were taken to a hospital in serious condition following a weekend motorcycle crash on the H-1 freeway in Honolulu.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser (https://bit.ly/1opILqf) reports a 43-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were on the motorcycle Sunday night when it crashed in the westbound lanes near the Hickam off-ramp.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services says neither rider wore a helmet. Police say their conditions were upgraded at the hospital.
The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. Police reopened westbound lanes of the freeway at 7:43 p.m.
