QUINCY, Ill. (AP) - A second child has died in a Quincy house fire that also killed the 3-year-old boy’s father and younger brother.

The Quincy Herald-Whig reports (https://bit.ly/1mCh8oh ) that Lewis Bassett Jr. died Saturday after he was flown for treatment to St. Louis Children’s Hospital. His father, 43-year-old Lewis Bassett, and brother, 1-year-old Ladavion Bassett, were pronounced dead at a local hospital after the blaze.

Quincy Fire Chief Joe Henning said Sunday that fire and police are investigating what caused the fire.

Mourners gathered at the home leaving flowers, wreaths, balloons and a wooden cross.

Lewis Bassett’s sister, Richelle Bias, said she’s “going to miss all three of them.”
