OZARK, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in a northwest Arkansas county are searching for an inmate they say escaped from a jail over the weekend.

Television station KHOG in Fayetteville reports (https://bit.ly/1png8Jz ) the Franklin County sheriff says police are looking for Toby Tygart.

The county’s sheriff says Tygart walked away from a jail on Sunday afternoon. Tygart is from Logan County, which is in western Arkansas.

Anyone with information about Tygart’s whereabouts is asked to immediately contact police.
