WEST GLACIER, Mont. (AP) - Belton Chalets Inc. will continue to manage the Granite Park and Sperry chalets in Glacier National Park.

The National Park Service said Monday it has awarded Belton a 10-year contract for the seasonal management of the backcountry chalets. It takes effect in January 2015.

Granite Park Chalet is a hiker shelter with kitchen facilities for guests to prepare their own meals. Sperry is a backcountry hotel with meals provided by the operator.

Belton Chalets managed both Glacier chalets from 1954-1992; Granite Park from 1996-97; Sperry from 1999-2004 and both chalets again from 2005 to the present.
