PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - Jackson County Chancery Clerk Terry Miller says he is planning to retire at the end of 2015.

Miller tells WLOX-TV (https://bit.ly/1pmYZzJ ) he wants to spend more time with his family and friends. He has been the chancery clerk for 17 years.

He told county supervisors his resignation will be effective Dec. 31, 2015.
