LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A Little Rock Police Department SWAT standoff ended after officers breached a residence where they believed a suspect was hiding and found no one home.

Police spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen says officers were called to the home late Sunday. He says a woman told officers she had been arguing with a man who fired a gun at her.

Allen says the man fled on foot into an abandoned house nearby. Police negotiators tried to contact him by bullhorn but received no response. Police entered the home three hours later but the man wasn’t there.

Allen says officers are still looking for the man. Authorities haven’t released his name.
