SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (AP) - South Kingstown police are trying to find two men who bound and robbed two local residents during an armed home invasion.

Authorities say the suspects went into a home off Mooresfield Road with guns at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday and tied up a man and woman who lived there. The two men damaged the residents’ cell phones and fled with undisclosed items.

The male victim managed to free himself and flagged down a police officer. The woman was treated for minor injuries at South County Hospital and was discharged.

Anyone with information about the home invasion is urged to call South Kingstown police.
