HELENA, Mont. (AP) - The VA Montana Medical Center west of Helena is doing some remodeling to improve patient privacy.

Between Tuesday and early December, the center at Fort Harrison will transform 12 multi-occupancy patient rooms into 22 private rooms. The hospital also will have a new intensive care unit and pre/post anesthesia care unit.

VA officials say the project has a spending cap of $10 million.
