TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Arraignments have been rescheduled for two married Tulsa police officers arrested last week in connection with the off-duty fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man who was walking with their adopted daughter.

Shannon Kepler and Gina Kepler will be arraigned Aug. 19. They had been scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.

Shannon Kepler was arrested on a complaint of first-degree murder and Gina Kepler was arrested on a complaint of accessory to murder after the fact. Gina Kepler is free on bond. Prosecutors have not filed formal charges in the case.

The shooting victim, Jeremey Lake, was found shot to death last week on a street near downtown.

Shannon Kepler’s attorney said Tuesday that his client is innocent. A phone message left for Gina Kepler’s attorney was not immediately returned.
