BRIDGETON, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a southern New Jersey woman killed in a drive-by shooting was not the intended target.

But further details on the shooting in Bridgeton have not been disclosed by city police, including a possible motive or what type of weapon was used.

The 20-year-old victim, whose name was not released, was outside her Cohansey Street home when the shooting occurred around 9:25 p.m. Monday. She died about four hours later at a hospital.

Authorities say several rounds were fired in the shooting, but no other injuries were reported.

No arrests have been made.
