VALLEY, Ala. (AP) - A man and woman have received life sentences after pleading guilty in the 2010 murder of her estranged husband’s mother.

John Bradley Limes and Leslie Lea King entered the pleas Tuesday. Police say Limes and King repeatedly stabbed and bludgeoned Valley resident Kathlene Lucile Landino to death in November 2010. Landino was 59.

Authorities say they suspected Leslie King and her boyfriend, Limes.

The Opelika-Auburn News reports that the pair was found in a Phenix City Pizza Hut’s parking lot the day after Landino’s body was discovered by her son, King’s estranged husband Todd King (https://bit.ly/1sV5uuD ).

Limes still had Landino’s cell phone in his pocket when he was arrested.

Limes and King’s sentences do not include the possibility of parole.
