BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) - A popular eastern Pennsylvania music festival says this year’s event drew near-record crowds.

Organizations said Wednesday that Bethlehem’s annual Musikfest drew 1.15 million people, topping 1 million in attendance for the first time in four years.

The (Easton) Express-Times (https://bit.ly/1sU0Tal ) says the festival was 2,000 people shy of an attendance record set in 2008 and 2009.

This year’s festival featured performances by Keith Urban, The Moody Blues and Sheryl Crow as well as many free performances.

The 10-day festival ended Sunday.
