SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) - A man arrested in Sheridan on an outstanding warrant was later charged with taking 389 prescription narcotic pills, including morphine, into the city jail.

The Sheridan Press reported Wednesday (https://bit.ly/1nPuNrN) that Kyle Logan Fearnow was arrested last week at a motel.

Fearnow called police to report that someone was breaking into his room through a window. En route, officers discovered that Fearnow had an outstanding arrest warrant. They took him into custody on that charge.

Jail staff discovered Fearnow was carrying a bag with 389 pills. The Press reported that he was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and taking a controlled substance into a jail, also a felony.

Fearnow was being held in lieu of $20,000 bond.
