LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) - La Crosse County’s medical examiner says a man who drowned in the Black River was heavily intoxicated.

The body of 23-year-old Shalim Augustine of La Crosse was found in the river July 11. He had been missing for several days. Medical examiner Tim Candahl says toxicology tests show Augustine’s blood alcohol content was .32, which is four times the legal limit for driving.
