OKMULGEE, Okla. (AP) - A national criminal justice organization has honored the Muscogee Creek Nation for its efforts to provide services to address crime-related issues.

The tribe’s Reintegration Program was awarded the National Criminal Justice Association Outstanding Criminal Justice Program Award. The association annually honors five programs.

Program manager Tony Fish said in a news release that he wanted to thank his staff members, the tribe, and other local, state, federal and tribal officials for supporting the program.
