WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) - The starting date for classes at Wahpeton High School has been delayed a week because of a renovation project.

The Daily News reports ( ) that the high school is slated to begin on Aug. 25, about a week behind the elementary and middle schools.

Superintendent Rick Jacobson says he had hoped to start all the schools on the same timeline, but the work at the high school is behind schedule.

The renovation project will upgrade the mechanical and electrical systems.
