TUMALO, Ore. (AP) - Two chimpanzees at the Chimps Inc. sanctuary in Tumalo underwent electro cardiograms Wednesday.

The Bulletin reports (https://bit.ly/1oM6UBG) the sanctuary expects to have results later this month for the chimps Thiele and Herbie who are both 28 years old.

They received the EKG’s as part of the nationwide Great Ape Heart Project to combat heart disease in captive apes.
