BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Police say they’ve arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with a shooting that killed a Buffalo teenager and wounded three others.

Authorities tell local media that the man who’s in custody was arrested for the fatal shooting of 14-year-old Raymond Patterson III Tuesday afternoon near a city housing project.

No other details about the suspect have been released.

Police say the teen was with three other boys when they were hit by gunfire at a footbridge over Route 33 on the city’s east side. The other three teens were treated at a hospital and released.

Officials say the shooting followed a fight at a park that’s connected to the projects by the pedestrian bridge.
