RIPLEY, Miss. (AP) - A husband and wife in Prentiss County have been arrested in connection with the theft of weapons in a break-in earlier in August.

Sheriff’s deputies tell WCBI-TV (https://bit.ly/1utrOxy) that 22-year-old Jimmy Lee Baswell and 21-year-old Missy Ann Baswell, of Ripley, were booked in the case.

Investigators say the victim reported the theft of seven guns as well as knives. Five of the weapons have been returned to the owner, deputies say.

Jimmy Baswell was arrested last Friday. Authorities say his wife surrendered Monday.

It was not immediately clear whether either of the Baswells has an attorney.
