OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City firefighters have extinguished a fire at an Oklahoma City tire warehouse that sent thick, black smoke billowing into the air.

The fire started about noon Thursday inside T&W; tire and spread outside where hundreds of tires were stacked - but was put out within about an hour.

Deputy Chief Kellie Sawyers told reporters that it is fortunate to have put out the flames so quickly.

No injuries are reported and the cause of the fire has not been determined.
