JOHNSTOWN, R.I. (AP) - Police say more remains have been found in the investigation of a former Providence funeral home owner who died last month.

Johnstown police said two bodies, one in a box and one in a coffin, were found in a storage unit that had been rented to the late Alfred Pennine, owner of the now-closed Pennine Funeral Home. The remains of an infant were found in a box that had been removed from the storage unit after its contents were auctioned.

Police Major Frank Levesque said the bodies haven’t been identified, but documents with the two of them are linked to the funeral home.

State health officials said five bodies stored for several years were found at the defunct funeral home last month along with the cremated remains of two other people.
