NEW YORK (AP) - An aide at a Brooklyn school has been charged with assaulting an autistic student in the school cafeteria.

The Daily News reports (https://nydn.us/1nSFxpb ) that 58-year-old Milton Parker is accused of punching 11-year-old Anatoly Veltman on Aug. 7 after the boy spilled water.

Parker was arraigned Aug. 8 and is due back in court on Aug. 26.

Information on his attorney was not immediately available.
