BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Several Burlington officials and the head of the high school’s Boosters Club have been cleared of allegations of bullying and harassment.

The school district investigated a complaint by high school Athletic Director Jeanne Hulsen. She said inappropriate, sexist comments were directed at her during a February meeting of the Burlington High Parent Athletic Advisory Committee.

The Burlington Free Press reports (https://bfpne.ws/1vMcy0o) the investigation targeted City Councilor Dave Hartnett, new School Commissioner Kyle Dodson and boosters president Dan Feeney. The conduct of school Principal Amy Mellencamp also was questioned.

An attorney representing the district found there was too little evidence to go forward with the harassment complaint.

The investigation cost taxpayers $17,500.
