RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Police say a Rapid City man has been charged with aggravated assault in an alleged road rage incident.

Police tell the Rapid City Journal (https://bit.ly/1oSp7lY ) that 21-year-old Jordan Derstine was arrested Wednesday afternoon for allegedly pointing a gun at a woman from his vehicle.

Police say the 30-year-old woman claimed Derstine cut her off in traffic and she honked her car horn at him.

Police spokeswoman Tarah Heupel says Derstine allegedly followed her through two parking lots before driving away. Heupel says the woman had three young children with her and called police.

Officers arrested Derstine a few blocks away. Heupel says a gun was found in the man’s vehicle.
