MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (AP) - Police are searching for a man thought to have stabbed and killed a co-worker at a building site in Mount Pleasant.

Police tell area media outlets that the stabbing was reported shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday at Towne Center, one of Mount Pleasants’ major shopping destinations. A Belk store there is being expanded.

Authorities say the stabbing resulted from an argument between the two workers.

The name of the victim has not been released. He was taken to the nearby East Cooper Medical Center where he died.
