DETROIT (AP) - Officials have reopened two lanes of Interstate 94 that were closed because of pavement buckling that may be related to this week’s heavy rains and flooding.

The right two lanes of the eastbound freeway at Warren Avenue on the city’s east side were closed Thursday. They were back open Friday morning.

The freeway had been reopened Wednesday in the area, along with all other area freeways. But the lanes were closed to deal with the pavement buckling.
