GREAT NECK, N.Y. (AP) - Nassau County police say they’ve made an arrest in a June 10 residential robbery in Great Neck.

Daniel Ratliff of Bayshore was arrested Thursday and was awaiting a court appearance Friday. He was arrested on charges of robbery, burglary, grand larceny and weapon possession. Information on his attorney was not immediately available.

Authorities said the suspect pretended to be a florist’s deliveryman.

The police report said that when the resident opened the door, the man used a stun gun on him and hit him on the head with a vase, knocking him down.

It says the victim’s hands and feet were bound. The suspect broke open a locked safe. He fled with money, diamond jewelry and a passport.

The victim received hospital treatment for facial fractures and head trauma.
